Drop Forged Joint Pin or Pressed Steel Joint Pin is an internal coupler for end-to-end joining of tubes from the inner side.

The connection between the forging coupler and the main beam and the auxiliary beam of the scaffold is fixed by the hook and the locking device, which is suitable for the large-span engineering construction. The forging coupler is easy to assemble, easy to disassemble, and can be used many times, which reduces the construction cost and improves the operation rate.

Compared to forged couplers, pressed couplers have a price advantage and can particularly address the production shortcomings that cannot be overcome by forging processes. Using Q235, Q355, SPHC, and other grades of steel plates, these couplers are processed into couplers that meet the requirements of BS EN74-1:2005 through processes including cutting, mold forming, galvanizing, and assembly. Compared to forged couplers, pressed couplers have a certain cost advantage and also address the production gap that cannot be achieved using some forging techniques.
